Berry & Smith has deep roots in our community. We are committed to building better lives for our community members. We support several causes annually including the heart and stroke foundation, the cancer society and the boys and girls club, amongst others.

In addition, we have supported several larger organizations which are integral to our society:
- $60,000 towards the Penticton regional hospital’s expansion
- $25,000 towards the construction of a new building at Okanagan College’s Penticton campus
Scholarships and Bursaries:
We know the next generation are the key to a sustainable, successful future.We value our youth and are committed to investing in the next generation. We know that, especially in transportation, we need more youth entering the industry.
That’s why we have been offering scholarships and bursaries for many years towards students of either Princess Margaret Secondary or Penticton Secondary who:
- Displayed a good work ethic and attitude and will complete either a Commercial/Heavy Duty Mechanical apprenticeship or will obtain a BC commercial driver license of either a class 1 or 2 license (plus air brake certificate) upon completion of training at a BC registered driver training school.
In addition, we also offer an annual bursary towards students of Okanagan College who are studying a Commercial/Heavy Duty Mechanical apprenticeship.
