REQUIREMENTS

 

Valid Class 1 license (With Air Brake Endorsement)

Maximum of 6 points over the past 5 years, and a satisfactory review of driver’s abstract

Valid Canadian passport/citizen card and ability to cross border to the USA.

Must be able to effectively communicate.

Be able to effectively plan a workday and operate on an efficient time schedule.

Ability to fluently speak, comprehend and write in English.

Professional driving skills: braking, backing, cornering, stopping, cornering, etc. and be able to safely drive through mountain, city, and winter conditions.

Be familiar with and have the necessary skills and abilities to safely load, secure, tarp, transport, and unload, freight on flat deck trailers.

Satisfactory WCB results and physical ability to comply with all aspects of a truck driving job.

Be willing and able to drive all trucks in the fleet as assigned -Be familiar with logbooks and electronic logs and how to properly and legally comply with hours-of-service regulations.

Compliance with company labour rules which are federally regulated.

Preparedness to work on a six-month probationary period.

Satisfactory results from a Nurses Medical Examination.

Compliance with Company Drug and Alcohol Policy.
